From Our Hives
Honey from Fernsby.
This honey comes from the hives we manage at Fernsby in the Missouri Ozarks. Each harvest reflects what our bees were foraging when the honey was made.
Raw
We do not heat the honey during processing. It stays as close as practical to the way it came from the hive.
Lightly Filtered
The honey is filtered enough to remove bits of wax and ordinary hive debris without turning it into a heavily processed product.
Pollen DNA Tested
We use pollen DNA testing to learn more about the floral sources represented in our honey and document what the bees are using across the landscape.

A Natural Product
Every harvest is a little different.
Honey changes naturally with season, forage, weather, and harvest. Color, aroma, flavor, and the speed at which a jar crystallizes can vary from one batch to another.
Storage & crystallization
Store honey tightly closed at room temperature. Natural crystallization is normal and does not mean the honey has spoiled. If you prefer it liquid, gently warm the closed jar in warm water until the crystals dissolve.
